Winter Solstice Celebration

What: On the day of the Winter Solstice, many Native communities hold community events or spiritual ceremonies. These events may include dancing, games, storytelling,
crafts, and sharing a meal. Winter Solstice celebration and experience the delightful surprises that await. Let us take a moment to recognize the significance of this day. As Indigenous peoples, we consider this day an opportunity to express our gratitude to our Ancestors and celebrate the gift of the
Sun’s Light. “Everyone is invited to attend.”
